It's unknown whether the car came first or the drivers bought the cars specifically to race them. Well, it's quite clear that the cars you can drive are sporty and fast, but also quite expensive so you'll want to maintain your investment as much as possible. Still, the racers who take the most risks are the ones who are most likely to take first place. Just do your best to look cool while you do it.
About Night City Racing
The nightlife is full of fun, dancing, and dangerous activities like street racing so it's a good thing we have games to turn to for such an experience. This game is a tame representation of what actual street racing can be like. You have large and clearly defined tracks meaning you don't have to constantly be weaving through narrow streets and avoiding city obstacles like lampposts and other drivers. However, this makes it more like a traditional racing game which means that there's a lot of room to improve your driving skills. Do that and you'll find yourself dominating everything that the game throws at you.

Player 1 Controls
- W - Accelerate
- S - Decelerate/Brake
- A - Turn Left
- D - Turn Right
- Shift - Nitro
Player 2 Controls
- Up Arrow - Accelerate
- Down Arrow - Decelerate/Brake
- Left Arrow - Turn Left
- Right Arrow - Turn Right
- M - Nitro
The goal can change depending on the game mode but the average requirement is to finish the course as fast as possible. There can be other racers competing against you and taking up space on the road while the speedometer in the corner tracks your speed and nitro meter. If you lose the current competition, you'll need to reset the game.
Before you begin, you can go into the Garage to pick the car that you want. To unlock more cars, you'll need to buy them with money that you'll earn from racing. When you've got your car picked, you can pick your mode and start driving. The car with spawn at the start of the selected track with more tracks becoming available as you make progress. Your car is indestructible so you can safely crash it around without worrying about breaking it. Your nitro is also unlimited but requires time to recharge after every use.
Tips and Tricks
This is a driving game that prizes technique as well as speed to win. While driving, get a good feel for your car's handling and practice going around sharp turns with well-timed braking. You can use nitro when coming out of it to maintain or regain speed quickly.
